Lawn Care for Big Lots and Growing Neighborhoods

Flower Mound covers a lot of ground, and so do its yards. Wide lots, open front lawns, and backyards that stretch toward fences and tree lines are common here, and so are neighborhoods that keep adding new homes. More grass and more beds mean more room for small problems to turn into big ones.

Texterra Lawn & Landscaping is a locally owned crew based in Grapevine, a short drive away. We send the same people to your property and put your quote in writing before any work starts. One call covers maintenance, installs, and sprinklers, so you are not juggling three different vendors. Dalton Snyder tells the Texterra story on our about page.

Built for larger properties

  • Weekly mowing set for Bermuda or St. Augustine
  • Trimming around fences, trees, and beds
  • Bed weeding, pruning, and hedge shaping
  • Smart irrigation controllers for big lawns
  1. Crew sized to the yard

A big lot cannot be rushed, and a half-finished mow looks worse than a late one. We size the crew to the property.

  2. Finished in one visit

We complete the job in a single visit, with a full blow-off before we leave, so the yard looks done from the street.

  3. A heads-up before the next one

If something needs attention, like bare spots, weeds, or early signs of insects or disease, we tell you before the next visit.

“Dalton and his crew are great. Shows up on time, communicated throughout, and ensures a fantastic result. He got the entire job done before others were able to schedule a visit for estimates.

His team removed a full section of mulch and landscape timber to replace with sod as well as 100ft of draining rock. They also ran drains and buried draining pipe to help with some flooding. After the install Dalton checked and updated the sprinklers to make sure the new sod was being watered properly. He came back the following week to check on how the grass was doing and adjust the watering.

Needless to say the next project is already scheduled and there will be plenty more to come. Some before, during, and after photos showing the quality and care of their work.”

FAQ

Flower Mound Lawn Care FAQs

Answers to what Flower Mound property owners ask most before getting started.

How much does lawn care cost in Flower Mound?

Pricing depends on lot size, how often we visit, and the work involved, so we quote each property in writing after a walkthrough. Larger lots with extra beds and hedges cost more than a simple mow and edge. You will have the written quote in hand before any work starts, with no surprise add-ons.

Can you take over from my current lawn service?

Yes. Tell us what you have now and what has not worked, and we will quote the property and set a start date. There is no need to wait for a season to switch. We assign the same crew to your property and keep a set service day, so you know who is coming and when.

What is a smart irrigation controller and is it worth it?

It is a sprinkler controller that adjusts watering to weather and conditions instead of running a fixed schedule. A basic timer waters whether or not it rained last night. For most larger yards a smart controller reduces wasted water and helps keep turf healthier, which makes it a small upgrade with a quick payoff.

What does the new landscape installation include?

It usually covers bed layout, plant selection, sod, rock or mulch, and edging, and it can include lighting. We plan it around how you use the yard and which plants suit North Texas conditions. After the install, we can also maintain the finished landscape so it keeps looking the way it did on day one.

Do you offer HOA landscape maintenance in Flower Mound?

Yes. We maintain HOA common areas and individual lots to the community’s standards on a set weekly day. Many Flower Mound neighborhoods have guidelines on grass height, bed condition, and the front of the house, and a fixed schedule keeps your lot within them. Boards and property managers can request quotes for common areas.
